Katz Az2024-03-19I was steered towards Toronto Deck and Rail by my landscaping contractor after having searched far and wide for somewhere to purchase railings with glass panels for a DIY deck I was building at my home. I visited the showroom to see first hand what they had to offer and also to get a quote for materials. After having researched other options and obtaining other quotes, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices and quality products that were available. A special thanks to Mac Ceuvas who filled my order and quoted an estimate. Materials for railings were readily available in their adjacent warehouse and they even included free delivery 50 minutes away. After installation of the railings I sent measurements for the etched glass panels and was able to pick them up a week later. Fast turnaround time. My total experience was enjoyable, professional and worry free. Mac was always available for any questions I had and I would definitely recommend this company for anyone looking for deck railings. Although I didn’t need it, they also offer installation services. Two thumbs 👍 👍 up! Gerard Vaz2023-11-07Working with the team at Toronto Deck and Rail was a good experience. The final product was done to our satisfaction and the customer service was good from initial contact through to their techs. I took away one star because I think a couple of things could have been handled better: 1. Measurements are sent by the customer and then transcribed by customer service, this is not a problem unless you are getting glass panels which need to be custom cut. From the initial impression, it was not clear that a follow up visit would be required to install the glass panels (one-two weeks after the railings were installed). 2. The post bases do not come with a cover for the base plate/ bolts. Although not a big deal, per se, they leave the railings with a bit of an unfinished look. I’m told that several customers have provided this feedback so the company is planning to include them in future designs. This would have been nice to know ahead of time. Note, the base bolts do not come in the colour of the railings, which draws even more attention to them. I requested the techs paint the bolts before leaving, to which they obliged. I’ve attached some photos to give prospective customers a reference. Overall, I’m satisfied with my experience and end product.
